LOS ANGELES, CA - JUNE 27, 2017 - British rock band Royal Blood's sophomore Warner Bros. Records album How Did We Get So Dark? has debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart. In the U.S., the album debuted in the Top 10 on the Current Albums, Hard Music Albums, Rock Albums, Alternative Albums, and Overall Digital Albums charts.

Royal Blood's 2015 self-titled debut album also debuted at the top of the chart -- making them two for two with debut No. 1s in their home country. How Did We Get So Dark? is now available on CD, vinyl and through all digital retailers. Visit to stream or purchase the album, which features the single "Lights Out," as well as "Hook, Line, and Sinker" and "I Only Lie When I Love You."

After becoming the biggest breaking British rock band with their self-titled 2014 debut album, How Did We Get So Dark? is one of the most anticipated releases of the summer.  Lead single "Lights Out" was released on April 13, 2017 and Royal Blood premiered it in the U.S. live on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on May 9, 2017.  Watch that performance HERE.  Earlier this month, the band returned to Late Night with Seth Meyers with an explosive performance of the track that can be viewed HERE.

Praise for the How Did We Get So Dark? includes USA Today: "a monstrously good album", Rolling Stone: "a taut, smoldering album from a pair that has distilled rock to its essence", NME: "the sound of modern masters honing their craft," Entertainment Weekly: "darkly thrilling", Forbes: "Royal Blood ready to make leap to rock stardom on second album", and much more.

Royal Blood's breakthrough was huge. Their debut album was the fastest-selling British rock debut in three years, hitting #1 in the UK, debuting in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 Chart in the U.S. and going Top 20 in 12 countries. It sold over 1.2 million units (including streams).  Before they knew it, they were performing for Howard Stern, touring with Foo Fighters, holding dressing room audiences with Jimmy Page in New York, and being presented with a BRIT for Best British Band in 2015 by the very same guitar god. Their ascendency was further underlined with major awards courtesy of Kerrang!, NME and Q.

Royal Blood performed at the Glastonbury Festival this past weekend. This fall they will support Queens of the Stone Age across the U.S. See below for a complete list of upcoming dates.
