Today, Nic Fanciulli drops the next two concurrent singles from his debut album, ‘My Heart’. The 15-track LP, out on October 20th, has already seen the release of Wrong (Featuring Agoria & JAW) to worldwide acclaim, and will now be followed by the second and third singles The Perfect Crime (Feat. Guy Gerber) and Little L (Feat. Eagles & Butterflies) released on the same day.
A name synonymous with electronic music culture, Nic Fanciulli is widely considered as part of the generation of DJs that were formative of the revolution of dance music in Ibiza, Nic’s career has spanned two decades at the forefront of the worldwide electronic music scene with his My Heart album a physical embodiment of these experiences and passions.
Over the course of the Little L, Fanciulli - in partnership with one of the hottest new production names, Eagles & Butterflies, explores a variety of experimental soundscapes, focusing on a deep and dark build, with elongated horn sounds.
The Perfect Crime takes on a chord-led mystical feel thanks to co-producer Guy Gerber. The Israeli DJ and Rumors imprint owner, best known for his Ibiza-based RUMORS parties, is known for his effortless blend of melancholy and euphoria, and his signature touch on the track is evident here.
No stranger to collaborations, Nic has worked with many of his peers and up-and-coming talents on the impending LP, including Audion, CONSTANCE, and Chicago house pioneer Jamie Principle, who lends his hand to 100mph; but he’s not finished and has hinted at more surprises to come ahead of the October release date.
“I love collaborating - it really gives you an opportunity to explore the different aspects of artistry and create something totally unique. Feeding off each others energy, whether it's in the studio or remotely, is part of what makes collaborating so much fun; it's the same with back-to-back sets. I worked with a lot of really talented people on this album - from mix engineers to vocalists, producers to designers - and each and every one of them has left their own stamp on the project. There are a few surprises yet to come with My Heart; I can’t wait for you to hear it!”
Set for release on October 20th, My Heart has been an open space where Nic can present his creativity int he studio, and flourish in delivering an album of extreme diversity and originality.
