If you didn't already know, Mamby is more than just a music festival. There are a whole bunch of fun all-inclusive activities to explore that makes the festival a truly unique experience. In addition to beach volleyball, yoga sessions, wellness workshops, a braid bar, henna tattoos, tarot card and palm readings, and water balloon fights, Mamby has added four new "More Than Music" activities to the list for 2018.

First up, the Vibrant Dome will host gong baths, a renowned form of vibrational therapy and homeopathic healing that will get you fully realigned with the universe. Next, the Doggy Dome will allow attendees to hang out with the foster dogs of One Tail At A Time (OTAT), a no-kill, all-breed dog rescue servicing the greater Chicago area. For those dudes in need of a fresh cut and shave, the Gentleman’s 312 Barber Lounge will make an appearance to sharpen your festival look with a full service barber shop! Lastly, stop by the Advice Booth by Mondo Jumbo – staffed by some of Chicago's best up-and-coming comedians! All these activities are sure to work up an appetite, so don't forget to stop by the Picnic Area which has tons of delicious food vendors, including options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free attendees.

This year Mamby will also expand its footprint to accommodate a new Community Center, which will showcase a collection of Chicago-based talent and non-profit organizations with a common goal to improve and enrich the surrounding Bronzeville neighborhood. Stay tuned for more information on the Community Center, wellness workshop programming, and a full schedule of activities, which will be announced very soon.
