YOUNG BLOOMFIELD HILLS ROCK SINGER LIZ IVORY TO PERFORM AT "DISTURB'N THE PEACE FEST" NEXT WEEKEND

Liz Ivory is a young Bloomfield Hills resident who has recently released her debut album while preparing for a music career by expanding her horizons at the Detroit Institute of Music Education (DIME).

A very unusual aspect of Liz is, unlike most young, aspiring singer/songwriters, she is not trying to make it as a pop singer. She is a rocker – and a hard rocker, at that.

Helping her put together her inaugural album, Cinnamon Sky,  released earlier this year, was a stellar support team led by producer and Kresge Artist Fellowship award-winner Bryce Harding and the dynamic duo of five-time GRAMMY winner Chris Lord Alge (Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, Rolling Stones) and GRAMMY winner Adam Hawkins (Twenty One Pilots, Walk the Moon) mixing the album.

Coming off the release, Liz has begun performing live and has scheduled a slot on the "Disturb'N The Peace Fest," which runs Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14 at Hot Rock Sports Bar & Music Café (formerly The Ritz). Liz Ivory and her band will perform on Saturday, July 14 at 9 p.m.

Hot Rock Sports Bar & Music Café is located at 24300 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48089. Phone: 810-756-6140. For the "Disturb'N The Peace Fest," doors open at 6 p.m. each day. Tickets are $12 in advance/$15 at the door. Web: www.facebook.com/HotRockMusicCafe/
