London, United Kingdom / Stockholm, Sweden, December, 2017 — One electronic artist that has truly experienced a career renaissance is Jeremy Olander. The OG Pryda cohort took a big leap of faith in early 2014 when deciding to go out on this own and start his own label.
Since Vivrant's first release in December of 2015, the label has seen eight out of its ten EPs make number 1 on Beatport. It has released remixes and original work from Henry Saiz, Tim Engelhardt, Finnebassen, Khen and been supported by a who’s who of dance music’s finest like Sasha, Pete Tong and John Digweed. The launch of the label has also brought him a career-first residency at esteemed Los Angeles nightclub Sound, opened the door for multiple other sold out label showcases across the globe and got him an invitation to play alongside Sasha & John Digweed, Art Department and Dubfire at Ultra’s Resistance night at Privilege in Ibiza this past summer.
With an ever-growing demand from other esteemed imprints, Jeremy’s had several chart-topping dispatches on some of the most coveted labels on the scene. Examples range from Spanish behemoth Suara, Canadian microCastle, big wig Atlantic, John Digweed’s Bedrock and now also the revered Anjunadeep.
Home to original and remix artists alike such as Dusky, Patrice Baumel, Yotto, Guy J, Undercatt, 16 Bit Lolitas, Lifelike, Lindstrom, Prins Thomas and more, Anjunadeep has since its inception over a decade ago solidified itself as one of the premiere independent electronic labels in the world. With a sound identity that can best be described as atmospheric, emotionally laden and melodic, it’s a hand in glove match with Jeremy Olander that many fans and industry pundits think is long overdue.
In conjunction with the announcement of ‘Crossed’ EP, Olander is also announcing the first set of tour dates for 2018. Amongst others, they include a Vivrant showcase at Schimanski in New York City, a closing slot at Sydney’s Electric Gardens festival, a London return alongside Guy J and much more.
