On Wed. July 18, 2018 in Grand Rapids, MI at the Van Andel Arena. Shania Twain, a Canadian singer and songwriter; who has sold over 100 million records, making her the best-selling female artist in country music history and among the best-selling music artists of all time rocked the stage!
Shania is a five-time GRAMMY Award-winner and the reigning Queen of Country Pop. With more than 90 million albums sold worldwide and U.S. sales topping 34.5 million, Shania remains the top-selling female country artist of all time. In what promises to be one of the most anticipated tours of 2018, Global superstar Shania Twain has hit the road in support of her new album, NOW which was released in Sept of 2017. Her new album, makes this her first full-length album in 15 years.
The tour will mark Twain’s first since 2015’s Rock This Country Tour, which, at the time, Shania Twain announced that this would be her final run out on the road.
Twain wrote the song herself and, as you can tell from the lyrics, “Life’s About To Get Good” is about overcoming the pain and tragedy that life throws at you. And the Canadian songstress knows a thing or two about that: Not only did she survive a difficult childhood, but she also publicly dealt with a heartbreaking divorce from her longtime husband, as well as a battle with Lyme’s Disease. At one point, she even lost her beautiful singing voice! Thankfully, Twain has regained her full singing potential, and her voice sounds just as gorgeous and powerful as always.
The Now Tour is the fourth concert tour by Shania Twain, in support of her fifth studio album Now (2017). As she debuted songs from the Now Album she still took us down memory lane for some of her fan favorites. She released her first album in 1993 and she has never disappointed her fans.
You don’t want to miss one of the greatest talents on this side of Heaven.
