Gill Landry will release his second full-length album for ATO Records—Love Rides A Dark Horse—on October 6th. Yesterday he premiered the album's second single and opening track, "Denver Girls," via Billboard Magazine. Listen to the song here: https://youtu.be/1u1zSGH3unk

Although Love Rides A Dark Horse is Landry's fourth solo album overall, he tells Billboard the writing on this one was different as it was the first since he left Old Crow Medicine Show (with whom Landry won two Grammy Awards): "I was never gonna get the kind of songs that I write and love into that band, so it's just a natural evolution."

Landry will tour this fall opening for Rising Appalachia and Valerie June in the U.S. and Ian Felice in the UK. He'll play a headline set at New York City's Rockwood Music Hall on October 2nd, and is in Nashville this week for a string of performances at Americanafest, including an official showcase at The High Watt on Thursday September 14th (11pm).
