The Raskins taking a break from their Rock America Tour

July 21, 2018

Senior Writer: Diana Bragg Scott

The Raskins will unfortunately not be playing tonight at The Diesel Lounge in Chesterfield as originally scheduled.

I received a statement from the Raskins this morning that reads:

“Hi Diana

Logan sustained a pretty significant injury to his right arm while on tour up in Washington after their show. He fell outside the tour bus area and dislocated his right shoulder which gave him a bicep tear and hairline fracture. Great doctors are working with him and will have him back rocking and rolling in a couple of months... unfortunately the band had to postpone the remainder of their rock America tour.

The band is in the process of planning fall tour Oct-Dec. With the release of new single and will be making their way back through all those markets missed.

The Raskins love their fans and want to thank them all for all the well wishes and thoughts and promise they will be back in the fall....

One Band One Love One Sound

The Raskins”

The Raskins are fronted by the identical twin brothers Logan and Roger Raskin. These two talented singer song writers look like they stepped off a Ramone’s album cover. They describe their sound as “Rock/Retro/ Alterative/Pop/-Rock. They have been called one of the most promising up-and-coming rock bands. Their accomplishments include scoring a single in the Top 20 Billboard radio charts, and a Top 5 Heatseekers Album sales.

The Raskins have had a whirlwind few years, after they finished up a 70 show run with the Legendary Motley Crue (as part of their Final Tour) the Raskins went straight into writing mode to work on their next album. In 2016 they hit the road with Ted Nudgent and were

currently just a few shows deep into their 2018 The Raskins Rock America Tour before Logan sustained his injury. They were scheduled to play with acts such as Tom Kiefer (from Cinderella) and the guys from Faster Pussy Cat.

Tonight’s show at The Diesel Lounge will still go on and is headlined by Beasto Blanco who is supposed to hit the stage at 10:45pm. Openers will be Black Feather at 8:30 and Detroit Nightmare at 9:30.

We wish Logan a speedy and full recovery and will keep our eyes out on future fall tour dates with The Raskins.
