They played in the the largest stadium in the United States — with a capacity of over 107,000 — and the second largest in the world. Where is this stadium? Well it’s the Home of the Michigan Wolverines college football team called “The Big House”, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
La Liga is the top league in Spain, and Serie A is the top league in Italy. The match featured several of the top players in the world. In Miami on Wednesday, Barcelona defeated Napoli 2-1 in the opening match of the two-game set. Antoine Griezmann scored his first goal in Barcelona colors, and Luis Suarez netted twice, as the La Liga champions thrashed Napoli 4-0 in their final pre-season game Saturday. Suarez, who had scored the winner against Arsenal at Camp Nou six days ago, continued his good form as he struck three minutes after half time, and then in the 58th minutes.
Ousmane Dembele struck the other goal for Barca, who will now prepare for their opening league game of the season against Athletic Bilbao on Friday. Barcelona steamrolling to a 4-0 win despite playing without Captain Lionel Messi, arguably the best player in the world. Club captain and striker Lionel Messi faces a race against time to be involved in the match after injuring a calf muscle in training. A few key players on both sides was not able to attend due to injuries which caused record breaking attendance to be down this year.
