ADMIRALS WELCOME 8,000 SCHOOL KIDS WEDNESDAY
Milwaukee, WI—The Admirals are expecting over 8,000 school kids and teachers when they play host to the Chicago Wolves on Wednesday morning at 10:30 at Panther Arena in the first of two Baird School Day Games this season.
“We are thrilled to host so many kids for our first Baird School Game of the season,” said Admirals President Jon Greenberg. “This is great experience for these kids and teachers alike as they discover the intersection of hockey and so many of the subjects that they are currently studying. Of course it’s also a great opportunity to scream, yell, and have a great time.”
The age range will included students as young as kindergarten all the way through high school. Students in elementary and middle school will receive a workbook covering subjects like math, science, geography, and health as they pertain to hockey in general and the Admirals specifically. High school students will be given a private presentation before the game from team executives to learn about how the Admirals function from a business perspective, including promotions, ticket sales, and communications.
While the game is geared towards the kids, adults are also more than welcome and tickets for non-school folks are just $6.
Tickets for Wednesday, or any Admirals game, can be purchased at the team’s office, located at 510 W. Kilbourn Ave, during the week from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. In addition, tickets can be purchased over the phone by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or clicking here. Tickets are also available at the Panther Arena and Milwaukee Theatre Box Office.
